(Diamond/Thunder Bolt posture)

This stimulates the vajra nadi and helps awaken kundalini and hence called Vajrasana.

Method

  1. Sit in Samatala Stithi
  2. Bend the legs at knee one after the other and put the feet under the buttocks while joining the both big toes and sit on the feet
  3. Keep the spinal cord straight and put the arms on the knees in Chinmudra, and meditate as long as possible.

Benefits

It improves digestive capacity; even after meals it can be practiced. This is one of the best meditation postures. It makes the body very strong.
